Description

The Blizzard Stormbird 7.7 is designed for intermediate skiers who want an easy-to-control ski that builds confidence with every run. Its versatile 77mm waist, forgiving sidecut, and Early Rise Tip and Tail profile make turn initiation effortless while traditional camber underfoot provides dependable edge grip on groomed snow. The lightweight PU Composite Core delivers a smooth, predictable flex that absorbs vibrations and helps linking turns feel natural and intuitive. A Partial ABS sidewall adds stability and edge hold without making the ski overly demanding, while the included TPC 11 Demo binding system offers convenient tool-free adjustment for a wide range of boot sizes. Whether you're refining your technique or enjoying relaxed laps around the resort, the Stormbird 7.7 delivers the comfort, control, and confidence to keep progressing.

PU Composite Core

The lightweight PU Composite Core creates a smooth and forgiving flex that helps absorb vibrations and keeps the ski predictable throughout the turn. Its approachable feel makes it easier for intermediate skiers to develop confidence and improve technique.

  • Smooth and predictable flex
  • Helps absorb unwanted vibration
  • Forgiving feel for progressing skiers

Early Rise Tip and Tail

Subtle rocker in the tip and tail helps the ski enter and release from turns with less effort. This creates a more intuitive feel and makes it easier to adjust turn shape across changing groomed conditions.

  • Easier turn initiation
  • Smoother turn release
  • Improved maneuverability

Camber Underfoot

Traditional camber beneath the binding area keeps the edge engaged through the middle of the turn. It provides the grip, stability, and rebound needed for controlled skiing on groomed and firm snow.

  • Dependable edge hold
  • Stable feel on groomed snow
  • Controlled rebound between turns

Partial ABS Sidewall

The Partial ABS sidewall reinforces the ski near the edge to improve power transfer and grip while maintaining the forgiving nature of the composite construction. This helps the ski feel stable without becoming overly demanding.

  • Improved edge grip
  • Added stability underfoot
  • Balanced support and forgiveness

FDT Free Demo Plate

The FDT Free Demo Plate provides a convenient mounting platform for the included binding system. Its adjustable design accommodates a broad range of boot sole lengths without requiring the binding to be remounted.

  • Wide adjustment range
  • No remounting for different boots
  • Convenient tool-free setup

TPC 11 Demo Binding

The included TPC 11 Demo binding offers a DIN range of 3–11 and can be adjusted to fit a wide range of alpine boot sizes. It creates a complete, convenient package for recreational and progressing skiers.

  • DIN range of 3–11
  • Adjustable for multiple boot sizes
  • Included with the ski
